My GTX 470 died on me so right now I am running a GTX 460 768mb. I play on 1080p and have nvidia 3D Vision(don't play games on it since it was in my opinion a huge gimmick and quite a performance drop but I do watch Blurays in 3D which is pretty cool)

Now should I get a second GTX 460 the 768mb vram isn't really a problem since I don't really run ultra settings or high AA if anything I only run 2x or 4x if the card can handle it.

Hold out and get 2 GTX 560's in SLI once they drop to the £150ish mark (not gonna pay 200+ for them)

Or get a single GTX 570

At the moment im pretty fine with the single card and its only a few games that really drop to below that 30ish fps mark with the low AA and would like to just try get that up without spending too much.

personally I would get a GTX480 SOC

I would have been with you on that if it weren't for 1 those SOC's have been pretty dodgy lots of complaints on these forums about instability

also 2 if I buy a new single card I would want to SLI it in future when things get tough on it the 480's are power hungry monsters which would require me to change my power supply when the new 500 series are better + I could SLI for example 2 570's or even 580's on an AX850(580's is possible on stock + my sig is outdated)
