which memory to go for?

Corsair Vengeance Arctic White 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

or

Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX1600C9D3X2K2/8GX) **BLACK FRIDAY SPECIAL DEAL**

or

Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-15000C9 1866MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9)

is it really worth going for 1866 memory over 1600 + lower voltage (1.35v on the Corsair Vengeance Arctic White)?

I'd have recommended you bought the HyperX and save £15.

A sound choice - the 14400 kit isnit worth the extra money and the high profile finish can sometimes be troublesome with future upgrades.

The Hyper X are great value but the Arctic whites are low voltage which is always a bonus - but be aware that some members have had to pump more voltage through them to get them stable.

True - but the HyperX can 'usually' run at sub 1.58V - usually 1.5V.

You could still cancel your order if you want to save the £15 - but there's nothing wrong with the Artics if that's what you want.

Some people have had to use 1.5V with the Corsair Vengeance 1.35V RAM anyway.

And the CPU is designed to work with RAM at ~1.5V so the HyperX is hardly going to do any damage and would have saved you £15.

i guess if the Corsair Vengeance Arctic White don't run stable at it spec im in my right to send them back as faulty

Yes, if they're not stable at recommended spec at 1.35V then you would be entitled to send them back.

just did a quick test with my new Corsair Vengeance sticks they seem stable with the XMP setting.
