Which to install first?

My windows machine may have died a terrible software death.

So tonight I may wipe the drive and start again, now I am going to install both Windows XP and Ubuntu version 6.0.1 I think, the question is which one should I install first to make it as painless as possible.

i'd personally go for

boot to Windows cd, setup your partitons.. 50/50 for example

format first one, install windows....

once its all up and running, boot to ya live cd, click install, choose install on any free remaining space (ie second partiton)

GRUB will detect your Windows XP install

dual boot time

yay!
