I'm currently running:
E6600 @ 3.4Ghz
4Gb PC6400 DDR2 ram
Asus P5B mobo
X1950XT graphics card (Can't remember the brand, HIS I think)
X-fi Xtreme gamer
That PC's been sitting in my university room for the past 3 months, and I'll be going back to it next month, and want to treat it to an upgrade, but I'm not sure which component to boost. Its either switching the graphics card for a 4850 (Maybe 4870 on the offchance the price drops some), a new mobo as I'm pretty sure it is holding back my OC slightly (Runs at around 50C under full load, but pushing it more causes bluescreens). Or just getting a new CPU, as the E6600 is pretty old (And not even sold on OcUK any more).
I know that a lot can change in a month with regard to PC components, so I'll probably be asking again in 4 weeks time, but to give me something to think about, which should I go with?
Budget: Up to £150 I'd say, though less would be better, obviously.
