Which Tripod?

A little help please in choosing my first tripod for a 20d. I was considering Manfrotto MN728B Digi Compact 3-way Head Tripod for around 80 quid. Can any one give me any advice or other options.

I have currently got the lens kit 18-55, however I am looking into EF 70-300mm which with body would weight just over 1.6kg.
 
Thanks Joe and everyone, I dont want to spend a forture but I dont wont a load of junk either.....Manfrotto MN728B Digi Compact 3-way Head seems to me a good starting point for the money I want to spend, also the amount of time it will get used.
