I currently have a Nebula card (usb) which I've had for years and it's great but I'd like more than 1 tuner.

So I need something that has 2 or more tuners built in, either PCI or USB.

I find the Nebula to be good quality unlike some cheaper cards I've had in the past so obviously looking for something on the same level or better.

Any ideas?

When i asked about TV cards about a month ago, the majority here recomended the Hauppauge cards. My brother got the Hauppauge nova-t 500, which has dual tuners and works great. The software that comes with it is a bit rubish, but there is other software that can be downloaded, although my brother uses the media center that comes with vista, which works great with it.

Another thumbs up for the Hauppage Nova-T 500 here. On XP I'd usually happily recommended a Terratec Cinergy 2400i DT, but mine is struggling in Vista x64 in comparison to my Nova-T in my HTPC, and added to that, I've had 2 BSODs, with one of its drivers causing it, today alone, so I rather feel it's on its last legs as well as being less well supported than I'd like.

BlackGold have released in the past few months a killer looking card, supporting both DVB-T and DVB-S (freesat), and in a low-profile card (with full and half-sized brackets included) but looking on another forum, it seems drivers aren't there yet. Can't link as they sell their own cards, but it hardly takes a genius to find which one I'm on about.

I use a Hauppauge nova-t 500 on with my Vista Media Centre.

The only issue that I had was the card did not always resume correctly as the enumeration of the card from S3 was slower than the reuest for use.

However with Vista SP1 and the latest Hauppauge drivers all works fine.

Pinnacle dual DVB-T - I used Hauppauge and the tuner doesnt pick up as much as the Pinnacle tuners. Just have a look at pictures of the two and you'll see Hauppauge stil use the chunky old clunky Phillips tuner but Pinnacle use the sensitive all-digital mini tuners.
