Which UPS?

We need to replace the UPS's in the office, currently got 3 650VA units of varying ages but 1 has just failed and the other 2 are getting on a bit.

So, who/what would you recommend?
Are APC still the faves or are people like Eton recommended?

Is it not more cost effective to just bung a new battery in? They give you the instructuions for changing them.

Not really, one is completely nackered and has to be replaced. Batteries are not available for all the units but APC will give discounts on trade-ins should I get another set of APC units.

Half the time the new batteries from APC are almost as much as a new UPS. But yes, APC are still the ****. What you running on them?

We have the server running on 1
The print controller (RIP), PC & monitor running on another
My main PC runs on another along with the PBX phone system, router & switch.

We could do with a few more but to cover all the machines would cost a fortune, we certainly cant afford to get UPS's for the printers themselves which is a real pain but they suck waaay too much power.
