TV in the bedroom has died and as we're moving soon don't want to buy a new one just yet, so came up with the (possibly) bright idea of using the laptop with one of these USB TV sticks.

Now I've read good reviews about the Freecom DVB-T USB (which ocuk don't sell, grr) as the software is apparently pretty decent, but what else do other people use?

I had a Freecom DVB-T USB stick but found its tuner to be too insensitive for my needs. If you give it a very good signal it works fine but if your signal is less than 100% then you may get picture freezing like I did.

I now have a Nebula PCI card and, using the same aerial, never have any freezes. Nebula do make a USB DVD-T box but not in a small stick like the Freecom. I found the Nebula software a little flaky though and had to use an earlier version which seems ok so far.
