planning on replacing my GTX970 and had initially decided on the powercolor 56 after reading on here its the one to go for out of the 56's. looking now though i see that for an extra £50 i could get the gigabyte 64.
had a quick read in the forums and some saying its not that good with cooling, some saying ok.

the sapphire 64 is preorder and i also don't want to spend over £400.
am i better of sticking with my original choice of the powercolor 56 or going with the gigabyte 64 and hope the cooling isn't an issue?
no plans to overclock it and i have a 1440 monitor at 60hz.

PSU was replaced a while ago with a evga 750GQ so no problems there. i'm guessing both will be held back a little by my CPU, a 3570k at 4.2 but i am planning an upgrade probably to ryzen earlyish next year so that doesn't really matter.
i am edging towards spending the extra and getting the 64

The gigabyte card runs hot. 64s will throttle once they get to a certain temp which for the one I have was 85c. Which is now underwater. Its swings and roundabouts but I would spend the extra. However the vega 56 is still cracking value.

It's easy with the Radeon software. Pop back here once you've got the beast plugged in and either myself or someone else will take you through it!
I have the Powercolor Red Devil, undervolted it and it never throttles. Cracking card.
