Hi there. Question is in the title which version of ati tool should i use to overclock my bfg 8800 gtx, im currently using 0.26 and it crashes every time i hit dectect max core????

i cannot overclock my 8800GTS with rivatuner, it causes my system to freeze then restart, not sure why but problem instantly goes away the second i get rid of rivatuner... hence why my 8800 is still running at stock (KO edition) speed

Does the program crash or does the PC lockup?
If the former then i am not sure what the problem is. if the latter then you are probably going past the max core speed and the GPU resets and locks the PC.

I am using 0.26 fine with my 8800GTS.

I have similar problem; I can overclock the core but memory not at all using any tool. I end up overclocking the memory via bios.

i have that problem with ATI tool, i cannot even take my memory up by a single Mhz, i think these KO editions run slightly higher voltages as well, sure i read that in a review

ATi Tray Tools wasn't made by ATi, for some reason Rivatuner is the only overclocking program actually designed for nVidia cards and it's not very user friendly to say the least. Nothing as good as ATT.

Can't you use coolbits to overclock 8800s?
