Morning everyone, just a quick question im currently studying for my A+ and MCDST exams and some of the exam is based on applications form the office suite, i need word, excel, outlook and powerpoint i believe but im not sure which version i should get as there are a lot of different ones lol, i am kinda put off by the big price tag of the suite but it something that is going to benifit me taking the exams i guess, i have open office but feel getting to grips with the office suite is a must.

I have just seen the cheapest version which is office student at £60 but it has the programs i need other than outlook, maybe buying this student version and outlook serperatly would be my cheapest option

Hope you can help

many thanks

office 2007 professional is around £350, but i needed all of the apps for my course, i managed to get the academic version for £120 from somewhere.

Basically, if your doing courses or exams there is always cheaper versions.

EDIT

"Microsoft Office Professional 2007 - Complete package - 1 PC - EDU - CD - Win - English International - Not to US"

its £114 from a competitor. What you need to look for is the "EDU" which means its an academic version for educational needs. I bought mine 4 months before i started my course, and have completed my course for over a year now. Educational versions should always be the retail version of the software as well.
