Not gonna beat around the bush, always just had bootleg copies, kinda reluctant to give Microsoft my money but for convenience I'm just gonna give in to a new copy of Windows 10.

With windows 7 it was just Home, Pro & Ultimate right? I had Ultimate so what's the Windows 10 equivalent of that?

Pref a copy sub £100 but which is the best copy to get?

It depends on what features you need?

If you don't need the features available in the pro version then just get the standard version which is all you can get for under £100 unless you go to places like kinguin that sells windows 10 pro keys (these are OEM and would be linked to the hardware it's installed on) for around £20.

There are websites that sell those codes too, which gives it a bit of an air of legitimacy. The only issue as far as i know is that they are mostly OEM codes so you may have to activate over the phone with Microsoft (not complicated).

I never really know what's legit & not with codes on fleabay though.
A sealed retail box is the safest option. It will cost a little more than just a key but still less than a new Windows 10 licence.

Once of the best features of the Pro version is Hyper-V if that would be of use to you.

What I linked earlier is out of stock now. Was hoping to add it onto the order I was gonna make tomorrow.
