Which Version!

I want to move from window7 64bit to 8.1 64-Bit.

Mainly use it for gaming and trading!
For the reasons above, is Windows 8.1 64-Bit ok, or is it worth getting Windows 8.1 Pro 64-Bit version?

Comparison here http://microsoft-news.com/compare-windows-8-1-editions/ unless you need any of the features Pro has over 8.1 standard then you are fine for that for gaming.

Typically, this is all pro really offers over standard.

With Windows 7, if you have the Professional (or above) edition you can use Windows XP Mode which gives you a licensed Windows XP VM for free. Useful if you don't have an XP license and have any software that only runs on XP.
