Which video sharing site

My wife has given me a GoPro Hero 3+ Silver which I'm going to use when I hit the MTB trails. What video sharing sites would you recommend? Ideally free and I can share privately with mates.

Not sure about Youtube's permissions with only sharing with certain people, but the only other one I use is Vimeo, and again, not sure on sharing them.

Youtube has a fair amount of access/sharing options from specific people to public and various levels in between though I'm not sure how good its user specific sharing actually is as I've only used it in limited circumstances.

Just use youtube, and upload the video as private.

You can share a private youtube video with up to 50 different people.

vimeo is good but cost,s if using a lot otherwise use youtube which supports upto 4k where vimeo only supports 1080

Vimeo's quality is many times better than Youtube I find, but as said does have upload quota limitations with the free accounts.
