Which VM Software To Use?

Hi Guys,

I'm running OSX 10.5.1 atm and would like to stick XP on just so i can use it for the odd application that i need to run and the occasional bit of game playing, which would perform better VMWare or Parallels?

i think VMWare used to be the underdog, but it really is superb... i've never installed parallels myself but have used it on someone else's mac and i would say that VMWare wins hands down... although his parallels may have been an old version...

VMWare for me, Parellels was useless for me, as I KEPT getting errors on installation of XP. Once I finally got it on it kept erroring.

VMWare is fantastic, does everything it should flawlessly!

I have both and use them on a daily basis.

Until Parallels latest version, I rated VM Fusion much the better of the two. Now it's much closer.

All I've been hearing of late is how great VMWare is and that parallels has lost its spark - I myself still use bootcamp.
