i have tried strong VPN but i could only get 30MBPS max on my 50MB virgin connection can anyone tell me if there is a vpn provider that can give the full bandwdth? thanks

Where was the VPN node based and can you saturate your 50 Meg line from the same content source when not going through the VPN?

As suggested, for less than you are paying StrongVPN you will be able to find a decent enough VPS package on which you can maintain your own VPN endpoint and do more in addition. Depending on what you are trying to do, however, you might not maintain 50 Mbps throughput but then these packages are generally based upon shared resources.

False posting

not sure what that means false posting i mean....
i dont know where the node was but i can get full download speed when not using vpn but not with it.when i signed up with strong vpn i had to upgrade straight away to get a local server which was supposed to be available but was not after i signed up.this was noted by another disgruntled user in another forum and we both felt as if we were mugged however i got my money back after a few days.

May I ask why you need 50Mbps throughput from a VPN provider? That is going to be very expensive, difficult to come by, and certainly won't be satisfied by shared providers such as StrongVPN.

If you're using VPN for privacy reasons and need the full 50Mbps throughput for downloading, use download services that offer SSL encrypted connections, then bypass your VPN for those; there's no real benefit to be had from bouncing SSL encrypted downloads through a VPN. :)
