Which VR headset/solution for "virtual monitor" only?

I'm looking for a VR solution to have a virtual monitor to use with a PC. Ideally a 3D virtual monitor. Does anyone know of a good solution for this?

Is there a specific use case? VR headsets don't make for great monitors.

Oculus Quest 2 or HP Reverb G2 have good enough resolution to watch movies, especially 3D movies, on a virtual screen (even a virtual cinema screen).

However, they're not really good enough to use as a proper monitor for anything serious.

Yeah, I wouldn't really won't to work in my quest 2 vs a proper monitor. I guess if it was that or a TV etc, then perhaps.

Thanks for the replies. The use case is for working so it's helpful to hear that headsets aren't good for that.
