I have a Corsair 650w PSU and I have a Lian-Li Midi Tower. The PSU is at the top of the case and there is a vent directly above the PSU where the air can escape. But my question is which way must i face the Fan which is with the PSU. Towards the CPU/Heatsink blowing into the case or up towards the vent.

Stupid question but its been bothering me since my PC has been having temp problems.

What Lian Li case are you using, and psu fans draw air from the case and exhaust out the rear of the psu - (not sure if you already knew that)

Negligdable i'd say, obviously the fan is meant to cool the components enough not suck hot air outa cases

PSU's tend to be super quiet so fans aint real cfm monsters you see

But put it this way, if you sent the psu air into the case you sure would see a difference (on the hot side lol)

Yrs ago i had a large case as i do now, my very old psu ran mega hot, i used some of the flue expanding duct (like for cooker hoods) and had it from psu fan to hole in case side, drop in temps in case and also the psu itself felt barely warm

The psu should suck air up and out through the back of the case. The psu will probably fit in both ways but the screws shouldn't match up with the holes on the back.
