wanting to find a full cover water block for the xfx 8800gs as i want to take of the standered heatsink and fan cooler to reduce noise.

You could fit a universal block like the MCW-60 with ramsinks or you might find that an 8800GT block would work as it uses the same G92 chip as the GT.

Best bet is to go with the MCW-60.

Full cover blocks are a total waste of money as everytime you change cards you need a new block. As Mike say's, go for a core only block such as the MCW60, DD Maze4/5, EK supreme vga, D-Tek Fuzion vga and use ramsinks on the memory. Better cooling and less restrictive and you can use them over and over. My Aquaextreme MP-1 has been on 4 different cards now!!

thanks guys looks like it mqay be a better option to go the block and ramsinks road as like u say when i upgrade i can transfer it.

thanks

steve
