Sapphire Radeon R9 290X 8192MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card **OcUK World-wide Exclusive**

So from this store what's the best block to go into a custom loop so I'm not looking for an integrated solution.

Or do you think there is a better card (to be water cooled), my gaming is at 1080p but I fold 24/7.

Games are Elite Dangerous, GTA, World of Tanks and FSX currently on a R9i270x with an i7 4790.

If its the none vapour X model just a standard reference model then any reference water blog know for the r9 290 will do

OK I kind of asked for that answer lol
What I meant was is there a water block of choice that offers slightly more over clocking headroom over the others.
Im not talking about gpu coverage and peltiers (been there done that) here just an all over block.
Thanks

All the full cover blocks pretty much are within a few degrees of each other and that's probably just down to random variation. I generally always buy EK but get whatever suits you're aesthetic needs.

Whats more important is having a good enough rad/ rads to cope with removing the heat from the loop.

I have 2of those cards and just installed ek fc blocks on both of them.
Its leak testing till i get home after lunch today so will let you know how they are then.

I'm looking at this card and watercooling too. I've got a 360 rad that's currently just cooling my CPU, is that enough if I want to add the GPU into the loop?

When i was reading up on these blocks for the 290 the ek one was the best as it cooled the vrms the best but core temp was roughly the same

Yeh core is the sane as an aio about 60c overclocked at load.

Vrms with the ek hit about 55 instead of 90's
