A few weeks ago i took a portrait of my daughter. The photo is now framed but i'm unsure which way to hang it as it was taken with her lying down, but i kind of like it upright aswell. Any opinions ?

Landscape it. Also, pictures of babys tend to look better in B+W.

I've take a liberty and played with the image a bit, (B+W'd it, softened it, added a border), hope you don't mind.

... Now if i could just work out how to post an image :D ...

Host it up, and then click the Mountain picture on here, and paste the direct picture link in the box.

That's nice but needs a little more contrast and uniform borders :)

He, he, I spent about 30 seconds on it :)

I'll take your point on the borders, i just added 10% all the way round. But, convention is to print baby shots low contrast, otherwise they look blotchy.

I had a quick play with contrast, and it can be improved a bit, I haven't bothered changing the image here though as the improvement is minor. ;)

Hi mate, I've been waiting for this ;)

yup i'd go for landscape & b&w, b&w takes away all babies skin blotches & veins and makes them look perfect, a pic like aztechnology's will look blinding on your wall. she sure is something to be v. proud about :)

Well seeing as 1 person has already had a go at a B+W conversion i thought i would give it a go. Hope ya don't mind Spanker

The actual final print of the photo does not look as blotchy as this image here does, and B&W will be in the next project. Thanks for the input guys.
