Might be a silly question, but I am putting two fans on my case one on the back and one on the side. Should I have them both set to suck air into the case or should I have one on suck and the other on expell?:)

Think of the way you want the air to flow. You want a slight negative pressure, so you have slightly more sucking out to sucking in. I would do as Chong Warrior says. Your PSU will be exhausting air at the back, and you really dont want ot be sucking that back in.

I think side fans are pointless, they are ok if you want extra air near you gfx card, but other than that just a nother way to chuck more dust in there.

One at the front sucking in and one at the back exhausting the hot air.

The norm is to have an intake fan low down at the front and an exhaust fan midway up at the back. I too am unsure of the impact of a side fan - I've got a great big one on my Tt Armor+ and I've always had a niggling worry that it's somehow disrupting my nice airflow :D

Sorry to hijack thread but no point in starting a similar one.

I have a 120.2 fan mounted at the back of my case, I have removed the rear exhaust fan and have got a side fan (blackline lexa) as exhaust. Is this pointless?

Most cases are setup with the rear fan next to the CPU heatsink, the idea being the hot air from the CPU is expelled from case as quickly as possible.

You also need to think about where the cool air is coming from into your case? Ideally as far away from the hot air as possible. Seeing as your Power Supply will also be blowing hot air out of the back it makes sense to draw air in from the front?

Well the cpu and northbridge is under water, so no heat is coming from this. I am concerned the ram / motherboard wont be getting enough cool air?
