Which one one of these would you say is the most stable, the fastest for browsing and downloading?

Hi ..i,d say either Firefox or Chrome for speed and browsing IE8 is pretty slow ,but security is good .

Opera for me, best compromise of all important elements, and 10.5b is faster than anything else.

IE8 in protected mode (i.e on Vista or 7 with UAC enabled) is the most secure by far.

So u would say Opera 10.5b is faster than Chrome ?

I'm using FireFox

Fastest for browsing would be Chrome.

Fastest for downloading? Mostly depends on your internet connection.

IE7 & FireFox are most stable IME, never had a single crash. I get quite a few crashes with IE8 though.

I use Opera as my main browser with Firefox on standby for sites that Opera can't/won't display properly or for the very rare sites/pages that refuse to load in Opera.

Have been using the beta and release candidate builds of Opera 10.50 recently. Some builds are pretty stable, others are quite tarty in getting their knickers proverbed up. :D

IE8 here. It just works. Can't say I find it slow. But then I haven't tried anything else...

Same here, I did try Chrome for a little while today on a friends computer seemed to be ok.

I have always stuck by IE never really given me any isses but lot of people says it so slow compred o other so Thought I would ask your opions...

*chrome for quick reading + private browsing i like how it opens a new window rarther than takes over the current one

*ff is still my main browser but I mostly use it for my uni work as i have a shed load of plugins to help me with stuff

*IE as sharepoint and crm complain like crazy when using anything else

IE8 + ie7pro( bucketload of handy plugins, I mainly use it for spellcheck and mouse gestures) primarily.
Firefox 3.5 or whatever he latest stable version is for private stuff ( cough pron ).
Chrome for speed ( but it doesn't seem to work any more since I did an upgrade install from vista to 7, can't reinstall it either.)

Chrome is the better browser but it's still ahead of it's time, once everyone has caught up and stopped supporting the quirky IE browsers by default on websites Chrome will be the best but as it stands some websites I use all to often have issues with Chrome's strictness when it comes to standards.
