Which Web Cam?

I'm looking at the following web cams, which one is better in image quality...

Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000 or the Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000 Webcam?

Reading the specifications, they both seem quite similar... anyone had any experience with any of the two? :confused:

I have the quickcam and its excellent - excellent still and the great for video - very good in the dark too.

Hi, get yourself an sony eyetoy for the PS2 and grab the drivers from the net, as managed to pick up one last year for £3 with the game and boxed from a bootsale and this year I picked up 2 from a bootsale for £2 and they are a fanstastic little camera that matches all the pc web cams.

Don't know if the drivers are out for vista though.

Correction on the drivers for the eyetoy. There are drivers out for vista for the eyetoy, as I just downloaded newer drivers now, but can't test yet as I ain't got vista installed.

I've got to second the eye toy nomination, for the money they cannot be touched seriously.

There are Vista certified driver - even works on Vista 64 bit

I also have the eyetoy even with the new drivers it doesn't work. That's on 64 bit don't know about 32.

cheers for the info... i have a logitech mic, a logitech web cam would be a perfect match...
