    Hi everyone,

Quick question. I'm planning to build my own website (standard leaflet website) using WordPress.
There are so many webhosting companies that I'm really getting confused.
Which one would you recommend? GoDaddy? 1&1? Hostgator? Different one?

    Many thanks.

Krystal seems to be well regarded on here of late. Ive signed up a small website with them and all went fine but only been using a few months so cant really comment too much in all fairness but certainly no initial problems.

I use Linode for my webhosting. For $5 a month you get everything you need (or $7.50 a month if you want automatic backups included).

They have a London data centre so you don't have to worry about slow speeds from US servers if most of your audience is UK based.

Warning: You do need to know how to use Linux to use Linode hosting as they just give you a VPS with root access. On the plus side you can install anything you want which you can't do with shared hosting.
