Which wheel for XB1?

I'm having a hard time justifying spending $300 on a Thrustmaster wheel or $350 on a Mad Catz wheel due to having their gear in the past and it being cheap crap. I used to use a G25 and Fanatec Clubsport pedals back when I did a load of rFactor sim-racing and that together cost around the same as the current XB1 offerings and was substantially better quality.

So, is there anything else I could be looking into? I'd say $300/$350 is the limit so I can't go for the latest Fanatec gear :( It'd be nice if it also worked on PC too as I'll be getting back into that at some point in the future.

Do any of the current systems come with load cell brakes, etc?

If not I guess the Thrustmaster will have to do.

Cheers!

I can't really recommend the Thrustmaster TX if you looked at that after having it for a bit when it first came out, overpriced, unreliable rubbish really, there isn't much choice for a Xbox One and PC compatible wheel because of MS's crappy decisions. The only option I know of is the new Logitech G920 which is to be released soon, otherwise it's just Fanatec of course, I've just dropped a lot of cash for a v2 base and v3 pedals and the Xbox One Universal Hub, hoping it works well with the sims I have on PC and Forza 6 when released.
