Which widescreen

Looking to buy a widescreen monitor which its up to playing games on ie Half Life 2 etc online and off but like to watch a dvd now and again.Can go up to £600 maybe a little higher.

Graphics card is a ATI X1900 XT-X

deep pockets huh?

everybody seems to be going for the NEC LCD20WGX2. Thats 20" and if you want a bigger screen i suggest the Dell Ultrasharp 2405FPW.

Agreed! I have the NEC LCD20WGX2.

Personally I would recommend the Viewsonic VX2025wm same sort of specs as the NEC but 2ms slower response and it's not as bright but other than that it's not far off.

this review gave it top marks and the NEC came second I personally just got my hands on one and I'm really pleased with it colours are rich and clear blacks are nice all round monitor and its £80 cheaper.

But if you have that kind of cash to spare could consider the 24" Dell that's a nice piece of kit.
