Hi, I'm looking for a wifi router to connect to my virgin superhub so I can actually use wifi in my house.
I have 100mb connection, soon to be 120mb.

Is the Asus RT-N66U the best bet?

So far I don't really use wifi except to control my Squeezebox but that keeps cutting out. Everthing else is Cat5e/6 connected, but I'm looking forward to joining the 21st century and the wonders of wifi!

Ok looks promising, cheers. But not sure about that price - £165-ish for a non modem router wtf?!
I'd probably go for it if I was flush but right now things are quite tight.

I was thinking the RT-660 was expensive at £110.

Any other popular options out there?

So, you're saying your superhub wifi sucks? Mine always worked fine
If it's bad enough to warrant you buying a replacement router then maybe you could complain to VM and get something sorted for free?

Yes, my superhub wifi sucks - large ones.
Its a very well known issue. It will work ok then just cut out, and the range is not great.
Try googling "superhub wifi sucks" and see how many people agree with me!
The wired bit is fine, just the wifi is bad.

RT-N56U, about £85 when I bought it a few months ago. Fantastic, never needed to reboot, wireless is great compare to the sh. Stock firmware does everything I need.

Yup, just stick your Super Hub into modem mode, connect an ethernet cable between the two and you're good to go!
