Well I got the Mx518 in the end, They seem to have changed the base a little (for the better) Instead of having four little glide pads, one at each corner, they have opted to use a big pad on the top and bottom with a little pad on the left.
It's just better now
I also bought my first ever mouse mat lol How did I ever manage without one.
You know how you can change the DPI of the mouse, well you have to use one DPI setting lower than your used to with a mat(so I feel anyway)
It's a steelseries OCK mini mat, only £5.
