Hi,

I did a quick search but didnt find much on the subject. Im in the market for a new wireless keyboard and mouse and wanted to know what you guys recommend.

Budget isnt really an issue (but if its costing me close to £100 i wanna know why you think its worth it) but i do play the occasional game of CS:S so would like as much responsiveness as possible please.

Thanks,

Matt

Normally i would recommend anything by Logitech but recently i havent liked any of their mouse/keyboards combinations (please put the insert/delete keys back the way they were logitech!) When my keyboard died a few weeks back i resorted to buying an older 2nd hand wireless set (Cordless Desktop MX), that keyboard is fine for gaming, has all neccessary media keys and has a normal layout. I am not using the mouse that came with the set as i have a MX1000, which is a fantastic mouse, but the bundled mouse looks good too.

Not sure about the keyboard, but got the Logitech G7 wireless mouse - has three responsiveness settings and I've found it has worked very well in CS :)

ahhh excellent, everyone had better watch out when playing CS:S if i set my mouse to ultra-responsive!

Thanks for advice

If you want it to last... just don't bother with anything but a Logitech or Microsoft setup. Decent hardware designed to be abused. (And the paint don't rub off after two weeks like Belkin kit...)

All you then need to do is work out how much you want to spend, and which of the "extra" buttons you want dotted around your keyboard.

Go look on the Logitech website and you'll see all the models listed together for easy comparrison. :)
