i just bought a new OCUK Built Pc, i'm wondering the following

as the pc would take up to 500w/750w load if to plug it right into the wall with no power surge or plug it into my monster 8 way power surge extension lead (which is nearly full)

so

Monster 8 Way Power Surge or plugged into wall

Ideally you should connect through the surge protector. The monster 8way should handle 3000W (13A) as standard so unless you have lots of other high power equipment it will be fine.

If you have an electic fire... you may want to plug that in elsewhere!

must be his life support system for his kidney's as thats the only way i wouldnt have my PC plugged into one over another appliance
