Which would be the better choice ???

i am about to upgrade and i have a £500 budget.
I basically have 3 options but i am not 100% which would give me the best boost in performance.
So please help me decide which way to go.


1. keep my setup but change;

MY current PSU is a Tagan 480 so i would need to upgrade this one for sure and i have a Samsung 206BW so games are played at 1680x1050.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Sell and upgrade - option 3. Shift your current stuff while it is still worth something, get a whole load of new stuff with fresh warranties.

I agree, and whilst your selling the current system core 2 duo prices will drop! Option 3 has some excellent selections by the way!

I'd go for option 3 if you can either be without a computer for a while or you have a spare to use in the meantime. It will give you the most balanced overall system.

Get 2gig of ram, the new PSU and the 640MB GTS.

The 165 is a good processor and for gaming is not so far behind C2D
