Which would you buy and why?

So there is a Ubisoft sale going on, and i was eyeing up some games, was looking for advice on which one would be the better buy

Anno 2070 or Anno 2205

Farcry New Dawn or Farcry 5

Farcry was so short it wasn't really worth the money IMO. Whereas Assassin's Creed Odyssey has given me twice as much play time and I am still playing it now.

Did they ever fix Far Cry 5 or does it still have the resistance meter?

Far Cry 5 sucked on many game design levels.

I will get new dawn when cheaper.

I enjoyed both Annos. Couldn’t pick between them. 2205 interested me a little more I guess.

I'm playing through Far Cry 5 now and quite enjoying it, and I don't think it's that short, at least if you take your time and clear the map. Anno is much more of an acquired taste, might be more miss than hit if you're not heavily into those sort of games (which I am).

Wouldn't bother with far cry 5 personally, crap guns, crap story and forces you into missions when you could be in the middle of something else.

New Dawn scratches that itch. I never completed 5, got so hacked off with the resistance meter dragging you out of the open world all the time.

New Dawn is just pure distilled Far Cry, roam around, blow things up, take outposts, have fun.

Best new feature is that your doggo now rides on vehicles with you

Yes, definitely, great open world game, I ploughed about 50hrs into this.

Picked up watch dogs. Really good immersive/positional sound which I was looking for to use with my new sound setup. Tropico 6 might distract me though on Friday!

Good choice imo, much preferred it over 2205. Depending on cost, have a look at 1404 too, a lot of people prefer it to 2070 (I prefer 2070).

I have all of them,
Anno 2070: I got this as I liked Anno 2205 but did not play 2070 much.
Farcry New Dawn: I got this as I liked Farcry 5 and it was very good just like Farcry 5 and it was just £20.

out of the list:
Anno 2205 > Anno 2070.
Farcry 5 > Farcry New Dawn, but Farcry New Dawn is worth getting if you like Farcry 5.

Farcry 5 is a lot better than New Dawn.

Had an unreal amount of fun on Anno 2070, gameplay time racked up quicker than I expected on that game.

I'd agree that farcry 5 is better than new dawn, the anno games I have no idea about, they always seemed like overcomplicated civ type games with micromanagement aplenty

Far Cry 5 was dull, i did the first bit with the younger brother and then uninstalled the game, it wasn't fun at all.
