Which would you choose?

So now that I've snagged a 3080 and a proper stand for my sim rig I'm looking to buy a new monitor for non racing games. I've been looking at either a 32" G7 or the 38GN950-B. I know they are vastly different monitors. I'm coming from a Dell S2719DGF panel. I'm looking for something that will make games pop. The LG looks amazing but I'm concerned about the black level performance. It annoys me on the Dell I've got currently as the TN panel has awful viewing angles and washed out blacks. Which do you think will blow me away? Or is there another choice I've missed? Can't justify a Neo G9

38GN950-B without a doubt (or the Alienware AW3821DW which uses the same panel and is available for £935 atm if you look on Hotdeals

).

The G7 *is* great if you like that contrast, and the colours really do pop. I personally like the bigger real estate though, trumps it for me.

I had a look, and was able to get the student code, but couldn't get the additional £100, is that from saying you want to return it?

Or using an AMEX card I believe. How do you get the student code? Do I need to learn dev tools?

Ah, I don't have an Amex card

Go to the page where you put your student email address in, stick a fake [email protected] address in, hit f12 and find "showcoupon", edit, and change from true to false, submit the form and voila
