Which zombie game?

There seems to have been loadsa zombies games released this year for PC. I haven't really been keeping up to date with them all so I'm trying to catch up.

What's people's recommendations for a good first person or third person game either single or multi player.

Walking Dead (Telltale) - Interactive story, single player
State of Decay - 3rd person survival, single player
DayZ - Multiplayer
Project Zomboid - Isometric indie game

anyone tried contagion? its got 20hrs left on sale for £3 but I don't want another game i'll never play on my steam account.

£3 is cheap and all but ive got some many "cheap" games ive never even played I am starting to get steam saled out.

DayZ hands down - £20 now, price is due to go up. It may look quite bad right now, but it is pre-alpha

However you could just check out the steam sale like House said. Also Rust is supposed to be good (as others said) and again, 7 days to die, all up and coming games

lol, I think the idea with that is they are "stress testing" the servers for now to see how they cope with the lootz and stuff, plans to add a LOT more.

State of dicay is on sale, what's it like? I like the idea of project zomboid but its a bit stagnant, in that I've not seen any big updates lately and there is no story line/acheivments to pull you through.

State of Decay is excellent, but very easy. Lots of survival stuff in it, like base building, recruiting people, food runs, exploring abandoned buildings etc.
