Which Zowie mouse to replace my dying 1.1a?

I've been looking at mice and have narrowed it down to the AM, FK1, FK2, ZA11 and ZA12. It looks like the AM has the shape closest to the 1.1a, which I use with a finger grip and palm resting on the mousepad. However, the newer FK/ZA series seem to be the mouse of choice, so I figured I'd ask in here to see if anyone has a personal experience or can give me more detail regarding the comparisons. I know the ZA is taller which I like, but it's tall at the butt, while I like tall in the center (a la 1.1a, obviously).

Decisions, decisions! Any help is greatly appreciated.

ZA12, or if you can wait, keep an eye on the new Finalmouse Ambi.

There are no 1.1a clone ATM. All mouse shapes will be different to a degree, ZA12 is more like a Sensei, but that's still the closest.

I have a ZA11, and although the dimensions are close, it feels more like an old MX mouse. So, ZA12.

I also have an AM, and FK. Those don't feel like 1.1's either.

The main issue with Zowies and modern mice in general is width. Makes them feel smaller than they are (until, ZA11). The plunging front buttons also makes then different from old Microsoft mice. It's the 'modern style', a-la Sensei. Not really a big fan, despite having a collection of Zowies.

WMO1.1a or the IMO? WMO is closest to the FK series though the original FK is slightly smaller and doesn't have quite as nice mousewheel as the WMO - IIRC the FK1 is a little larger so the FK2 is probably a closer match.
