cheers, what would you think the alphacool full copper rad would perform like? any benefits having copper chamber over brass?

What coolant? Is the mayhems clear pre mix any good?

I have a swiftech mpc-350 pump (laing ddc) with no top so I can get a top and seperate res or there's a couple of top/res combos by xspc and ek.

Any recommendations?

The thing with coolant is most people say you need to change often (1 year) but with my swiftech h20-120 kit ( distilled water mixed with swiftech hyrdx coolant, seems like pretty standard stuff ) I used it for 4-5 years without changing once. Took it apart recently to salvage the pump and the cpu block was still as good as new. Is changing coolant often really necessary?

With the swiftech kit it said 'up to 5 years without refills' which is why it never crossed my mind to change it. Never had a custom loop before but ordering parts today when I figure out what I want

Is it much hassle to drain the loop?

Is it better to have angled fittings for the cpu block if I was using a bay res? How much tubing do you think I would need.

Heres my case, good bit of distance between the cpu + bays.
