Does anyone know the possible cause of a high pitched whine from the gearbox of a kawasaki gt550 . I dont mind stripping it down but would appreciate any advice on what exactly i am looking for , could it be a drive shaft prob or main clutch bearing, it follows the revs. cheers:

If it's matching revs rather than road speed then it's not going to be the drive shaft. Maybe gearbox mainshaft bearing?
