I only noticed this problem in the morning and it's already bugging me (and possibly worrying!)
Anyhow I installed the Darksiders game and booted it up with no speakers on, and my computer was whistling! It's very loud too and I never heard this before. I then desktoped the game and the noise faded.
As a result of this I went onto another game because I thought it was maybe load and the fans spinning or something so I loaded up the 'new' Batman game and there was no whistle at all (at least not like Darksiders was!) and I assume Batman is more heavy on a computer than Darksiders is. I also ran BF3 yesterday with no issues. So now I'm left in bit of a pickle.
It also cannot be my system fans as they are hooked up to a fan controller.
I have tried:
Manually changing the graphics card fan speed
Running Prime95 on the CPU to see if the CPU fan was the problem
But now, I have no idea what to do
Thank you in advance for all your help.
