I only noticed this problem in the morning and it's already bugging me (and possibly worrying!)

Anyhow I installed the Darksiders game and booted it up with no speakers on, and my computer was whistling! It's very loud too and I never heard this before. I then desktoped the game and the noise faded.

As a result of this I went onto another game because I thought it was maybe load and the fans spinning or something so I loaded up the 'new' Batman game and there was no whistle at all (at least not like Darksiders was!) and I assume Batman is more heavy on a computer than Darksiders is. I also ran BF3 yesterday with no issues. So now I'm left in bit of a pickle.

It also cannot be my system fans as they are hooked up to a fan controller.

I have tried:
Manually changing the graphics card fan speed
Running Prime95 on the CPU to see if the CPU fan was the problem

But now, I have no idea what to do :( Thank you in advance for all your help.

Darksiders 2? The in game vsync option doesn't work. Force vsync on in your driver control panel (or cap your frame rate).

Darksiders 1 is probably equally bugged if it's that version.
