I'm currently in the middle of getting some parts in for a build I am doing for the wife and am getting to the point where most of it should start arriving over the next month or so, so far I have the following:

Corsair Carbide 275R case in white
Asrock b450 motherboard
AMD Ryzen 2700x
16GB (2x8) Glowey 3200mhz rbg memory (Seriously cheap from a friend of mine in China) - If it even works for £35 delivered ill be amazed.

Already got:

PSU: Either Seasonic 750 prime platinum or Kolink continnum 850 platinum.
GPU: Either rx550 2gb, rx550 (baffin) 4gb flashed to rx560 ish, or vega56/64. Undecided on how much gpu power she will need but will likely drop one of these in.

Will likely give her my samsung 34 120hz UW and upgrade mine.

So with the above in mind and going for a white/purple or white/pink build and thought that I might hard line loop it as well using as much white and rgb as I can. I want to start with just a cpu loop and go from there and want as much corsair rather than other vendors (I have a corsair case, aio etc in my build black/blue and would like hers to be a baby version of mine albeit with inferior internals) but its a minefield and every time I put together a basket I end up lost. WC masters of ocuk.. please help me!!

Making life harder for yourself
By not doing cpu and gpu
At the same time

May well be but when I upgrade my Radeon 7 (Big Navi I am looking at you) that will go in her machine so the gpu I would like to keep out of the loop. She isnt a gamer and im doing it not for OC'in but for the look I can get with the loop.

Quick release/disconnect valves
Would make adding a gpu later
Much easier
Though no idea if can get them
For hard tubing

Just to be clear the 7 will not be going under water. In her case or in mine. Its not a loud card and I like the look of the stock shroud. I'd really just like to keep it to a single cpu loop. If I decide to wc the card later I will likely add a second loop so that I can have a second colour fluid. I think that would look awesome.

Even just this loop is clearly overkill but I want to give her something that looks awesome. So far I am around £200 in on parts and would like to keep the loop as cheap as possible while looking as good as possible.

I like the look of these parts as a base:

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £228.64 (includes shipping: £8.70)

Or at least something similar in white, again if im better off looking away from corsair for better value then that is also a consideration.

I guess a white AIO could also be an option but it's a bit standard and easy.

Fair enough
The corsair stuffs pretty new
So got no personal experience of it
And those prices are pretty similar to
What an ek xres pump combo rgb is
So is the block pretty much about
What others are
So no real reason not to go for the
Corsair stuff
Unless any of it gets bad reviews

It's more the matching thing, I have the 460x rgb case, and h100i v2 on my threadripper. Corsair maglev fans all round etc so thought corsair for her as well. Ive even bought her a smaller version of my desk. The man cave just became the man and woman cave.

For those who come in this build has now become the ultimate ghetto build. I managed to order an entire hardline setup kit from bykski who I know some people were plesently surprised with vega blocks.

This kit comes straight out of my mate in china so will probably take an age to get here but comes with the following:

Bykski Block
240mm coper rad
Byski Pav2 pump
A cylinder res
2 rgb Byski fans
Fan controller with rgb controller inc motherboard sync cable
6 Petg hard tubes
10 hard tube fittings
2x 90 degree fittings
Water flow meter
And some other fittings.

Its a massively long shot but £75 delivered was a risk worth taking, a complete kit for less than the cost of a pump (just saying it you know its going to go badly). I shall report back.. possibly even do a build log as its all got very ghetto and cheap (as i was kinda aiming for). Total build cost so far if you take away the bits I already had is less than £350.
