Queen wasps, my uncle kills them for a living.

Could be bacteria, does your coolant contain biocide?

*EDIT*

3 weeks old is a bit too fast for bacteria to announce itself anyway, was the loop flushed prior to being filled or anything?

Yeah I was using Mayhems UV Blue in the system when I first made the loop a few months back (rads were flushed at time of building) since then I switched to Pastel Red but I did flush the hole system with Di-ionised water before using the Pastel as recommended.

Edit - No there is no added Biocide in the system, as Pastel states it already contains it.

If you had alien's in the loop just flushing with Di-ionised water will not kill any them, nuke them.

Mix some biocide with a gallon of water add some to the loop let it stand a few hour's, then run the rest through the loop flushing it out.

Add new coolant making sure it contain's a biocide, if not add some.

Thanks for the advice Oldphart I will try this, it's annoying as it's £30 worth of new fluid.

Stuie- If its plasticiser will it get worse then I guess? Is Plasticiser just scum that builds up from the tubes?

Starting to question if watercooling is worth it.

It wont be bacteria I dont think, plasticiser might get worse it might not, when I did mine I left it running overnight in the dining room allowing everything to get warm and clear as much gunk out as possible, so far mine seems fine with xspc tubing

So yours looked similar? I thought with Plasticiser I would have to replace the tubing and fluid, so with yours you let the loop run warm over night and the plasticiser broke down and didn't come back?

I did it with clear distilled water outside the system overnight and although it looked fine after I came back to the tub that id emptied the loop into about a week later and there were some flecks that had fallen to the bottom. Ive not noticed any spots like that in my fully built loop but im running orange so it might not show up as well

Plasticizer tends to stay on the tubing walls until it gets really bad, it's probably just some random crap from one of the parts in your loop.

Also I'm pretty sure mayhems pastels base color is white, it could be some pastel that refused to be dyed :)

I'd leave it for now, if it gets worse then investigate
