White cars

I think its personal taste thing...on a 911 GT3, Exige, or Focus RS, certainly.

On a base model BMW or Audi repmobile...less sure. I think on more basic cars it'll go out of fashion eventually and be as unpopular as it was in the early 2000s and late 1990s.

I will add though that some companies have a fantastically dull range of colours at present, look at what colours you can get the F10 5 series in, essentially a very dull collection of greys, dark blues, bronzes, and silvers. In a show room a white car will stand out far more. It seems only the M5 gets a decent colour choice (that blue) unless you go for the expensive 'individual' option.

It does suit some cars - an Evo is a good example where white just works!

If it's a decent "white" though - there are some whites which looks great, quite chavvy I admit, but I do like pearlescent white paint on some cars.

I looooove pearlescent white, took some photos of these two at a BC last year..

I dont get it??? Why the hostility to white? its just a colour choice, why should it matter where you live?

i personally love white cars, as has already mentioned, works better on some cars than others, its a pain in the ass to keep clean, but theres not much that can top a pristine clean white car, would love to have my VI resprayed in Scotia white, definitely on the cards for the future.

Some cars look great. Larger ones such as 4x4s/SUVs etc tend to look like mobile fridges so it definitely doesn't suit every car.

There's oem povvo spec and then there's premium whites.
IMHO there is a big difference

Some cars look good in white some don't, it's all personal taste anyway.
I don't like cars with stretched tyres and all that other rubbish but I can't say that it has such an impact on my life that it worries me enough to get mad about and use caps lock on the internet

Also it was the 'in' colour to have a couple of years ago.

I don't think it was. This is the first load of white cars that i know of in the last 10 years or so.

White looks good on sporty looking cars. They look just as good at night as they do in the day. The same cannot be said about any other colour.
