I love silver. At least the paint has some flake to it rather than just plain white. White is nothing. It has no depth, no sparkle. It's just white.

Recession white, the no cost option. My local BMW dealer called me a few weeks ago and said there may be a car I would be interested in. Nipped down and there was a e92 M3 there he said I may be interested in, I said as long as it isn't recession white I may be and his face just dropped.:D

It did look ok I suppose with it's carbon roof and black bonnet vents but white and red cars I would not want to own again.

Someone earlier said that white cars are easier to keep clean. How does that work then?

Presumably they dont show watermarks so you can just give it a 10 minute wash.

At the other end of the scale is black, which requires a 3 hour detailing session or you may as well not bother :D

Yeah, white cars suck to be honest. Not idea why you'd have a white car and yeah, a place of residence should definitely dictate what colour car you have over a personal preference of colour.

I think that particular point is made because a white Porsche parked up somewhere that spends 80% of its time bathed on awesome sunshine looks fantastic, whereas a white Ford Focus which spends 80% of its time sitting in the rain on the A38 just outside Bromsgrove doesnt quite have the same effect.
