Looking to finally change my akasa eclipse for my new x99 parts...want white and removable hdd tray as I don't need one...running just one SSD ( all storage is on my server)but will eventually be getting a second gfx card...

Looked at the zalman z3 plus but it looks cramped and will have trouble with dual cards and by the looks of it the hdd tray is not removable...

Not sure anything will live up to my akasa eclipse...

Needs 120 inc fan on rear for my h80 too...

Cheers

Corsair C70?

Don't like the handles and forgot to mention a usb 3 on the top would be good cheers though didn't see that...

Don't know why cases have so many DVD rom bays it's a waste of space...don't even need a DVD drive never mind 3

The Fractal R5 has removable HDD cages, but looks a bit silly if your removing them all and not fitting some radiator or pump res in my opinion.

I think for an SSD only system you will be hard pressed to find anything as simple yet stylish as the NZXT s340. It allows you to fit your H80 in the rear, and the front can be fitted with two 140mm fans.

The slots on the front panel top and bottom are reasonable in size, plenty of images where people are going Crossfire/SLI, and it really pops with some LED or RGb lighting, Cablemod cables, and a little bit of colour co-ordination. IE if you have blue or orange bits on your motherboard, white and blue Cablemod cables.

I recently bought a Phanteks, because I want to play around with watercooling, and still have a few HDD's as I have yet to sort out a server or nas. But I was so tempted with that NZXT s340 and the Kraken X61.

If anyone has the Zalman Z3 plus can you tell me if the HDD cage is screwed or riveted to the main chassi?

Cheers

Thanks for the input...Think I'm going with the NZXT but my nephews gaming PC could use the Zalman due to cost...

Just saw this thread, and glad you like the S340. You actually have space for both a Kraken X61 and a Kraken X31 (or equivalents) on front and rear, plus can be used the the G10 for GPU cooling which all makes the most of the space.

Also dont forget if you can wait long enough you could be in for a chance of winning one over at our competition :D
