White drives black case? White the new black?

I want the Lian-Li PC7+Black but all my DVD drives etc have white fronts.

I've just considered this as an issue - what is the solution? Does the PC7+ have a swivel cover to hide the drives when not in use? Would I need to somehow swap the white faceplates for black? Or are my only options to either get a white case or black drives instead?

...

also talking point...is white the new black?! ;)

They are expensive but very good, not stick on or anything and not liable to break easily. :D

They just mount infront of your drives so no modding is needed. :)

Apple sort of made white fashionable a while back and ipod coloured stuff was quite funky for a bit. I take it you do mean white, not beige?

In no way is beige the new black. It's beige. It just sort of says 'pants'. Black says sophisticated. Silver says modern and new. Beige sort of screams 'Adequate'. So no - beige is not the new black.

Sorry - but I wish I could video myself (easy there!!) rolling about laughing at the thought of asking a certain gentleman to anodise a PC-7+ beige!

Lol.. Nice image in my head there.. a beige G70 :D Or imagine this... a beige Vento  :p

Vento in beige would be an improvement.

Wheat colour would be cool, its beige, but you have to tell people it is not.

(For the colour check the colours you can reply to a post in)

paitn the fronts of your drives
OR pop down to a local PC shop, and ask if they have any spares. my local one builds PCs for businesses, so ahvs loads of stuff kkicking about.
