White line at bottom of monitor screen

Hello all.

On Oct 28th last year I bought a Samsung SyncMaster 2433 from overclockers. It has recently developed a white line, running along the very bottom of the screen, which I've read could be a hardware fault.

Can anyone offer advice, please?

Specifically, I'm wondering if Overclockers will repair/replace the monitor (as I'm just over a year from date of purchase) .

I'd say plug it into another computer to make 100% sure it's not your graphic card or something. If it still has the white line on the other computer then send it back to OcUK.

You might also want to try using a different VGA/DVI cable to be sure it's not one of them (doubt it would be).
