Hi!
My girlfriends macbook is suffering. Basically, the backlight has stopped working. Titling the screen back and forth will occasionally fire the backlight up. I have started to open up the unit, but the 3 screws by the L bracket in the battery chamber are proving extremely difficult to remove.
I started to open it up because I thought it may be something as simple as a loose connection, but, after loosing my rag trying to remove the final 3 screws, I started to do some more research. I discovered that an inverter may be at fault?
Should I go ahead and visit the jewelers to borrow their smallest of the small precision screwdrivers, or should I assume that the inverter is the problem? If it was the inverter then I would get one ordered from ebay and tackle the screws when it arrives
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
