I have a late 2007 white MacBook and have read about people having problems with the case staining. However, all the reports I've read seem to be to do with discolouration to the palm rest.
I have blue/purple stains from resting the machine on my lap whilst wearing jeans - the heat seems to have caused the dye in the jeans to colour the plastic around the rear of the machine.
Anybody else heard of this? Is this a design fault?
