Hi chaps,

I am looking for a white mATX motherboard for my next project build - a small form factor gaming rig!

I am not decided on specs yet so all decent Intel/AMD chipsets, released or coming up(!) are going to be considered.

Please let me have your suggestions!

Cheers :)

There was a Z97 Sabertooth model, but that is the only one I recall. MATX is pretty thin on the ground as it is.

I saw that and then came across this coming out of Computex....

What do you think? Apart from not being able to OC on the B series boards.. :(

Cheers :)

I don't see any issues with that. Not too familiar with the Mortar boards, but I recall the black version being well reviewed and said to be great value. I didn't realise you couldn't OC on these boards though? Or is it more the fact they're just not so great at it?

Hey mate, I read it somewhere... let me dig it out...

Cheers :)

Hey guys, resurrecting this thread as my new case will arrive in a couple of days...

Anymore white m-atx boards out there that I should know about before pulling the trigger?

Slim pickings then I guess! :)

Is it a better idea to spray my own - what would be a good mobo choice for this? Heavy on the armour please! :)

Cheers

The Asus Z97 Gryphon was an armoured m-ATX boaad. I know someone here did a white build with purple trim. Project log here:

Currently, there are no white m-ATX boards except for that MSI B150 board. If you're spraying your own, you'll be limited to the heatsinks and armour. So in effect, you'll have a black board with white detail.

As others have said, m-ATX boards are somewhat thin on the ground.
