White or black Macbook?

both are equally as nice in my opinion, since the white is cheaper get that one

White all the way. The black looks stunning but is not worth the extra hundred or so.

White, in true Apple fashion. The black also has a matte finish, none of the glossy whiteness the white one has like the previous iBook.

The black looks nice in pictures, but if you go to a store you can see if very soon becomes filthy with finger marks and starts to look a bit tacky. I went for the white and don't regret it at all.

My black one is fine,apart from the trackpad which does get dirty.

I'm having the same dilemma.

Black looks like my work IBM Thinkpad, but on the other hand is exclusive.
White.... well white is just apple isn't it!

So I may just go for the 2ghz white and upgrade the HDD to 80gb and the RAM to 1gb.

I think theres no question, the black wount stay so sexy for long where as the white is a classic timeless look

Looked at one last night for the mrs (Really for me ) But she decides she prefers the £1K more Mac booj pro! Women eh!

I got the white, went the Apple Store to have a look and I just thought it looked nicer and more "Apple". Got to love how the apple logo stands out on the black ones though.

I like the white, but then i didn't really have much choice as i can't afford the black Some of you are lucky you can even consider going with the black!

Only thing pushing me towards Black is the discolouration issue with some of the white ones. Probably still buy a White one, if the problem surfaces I'll get a refund and pick up a Black one

i thought the white looked best in RL but the black looked best in photos. Wierd, but thats my view on it. Plus the black one gets well dirty from finger marks etc

agreed, i was all for the black one until i played with it properly in the shop, the trackpad and the outer casing picks up a lot of marks, it will look better than the white brand new but after months/years of use i think the white will look better because of its gloss finish it wont pick up as much finger marks.
